The Good The Bad And The Queen cover The Clash
Damon Albarn's band kick off their UK tour in style
The Good, The Bad And The Queen kicked off their UK tour in Bristol last night (January 27) with a Clash cover.
The band gave fans a rare opportunity to see former Clash man Paul Simonon, who plays bass in the four-piece, perform 'The Guns Of Brixton' during their set at Bristol Trinity,
In the same vein as their recent gig at Wilton's Music Hall in east London, several comedians entertained the crowd before Damon Albarn's band launched into their set, the bulk of which featured tracks from their self titled debut.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the venues for their current tour were selected by promoters because they have a historical resonance for Albarn and Simonon.
The remaining tour dates are:
Southsea Parade Pier (January 28)
Leeds Irish Centre (29)
Motherwell Concert Hall (30)
Dudley JBS (February 1)
London York Hall Leisure Centre (2)
Warrington Pyramid & Parr Hall (3)
Aylesbury Civic Centre (4)
