BEADY EYE TO HEADLINE TEENAGE CANCER TRUST

Beady Eye are proud to announce they will be headlining this year's Teenage Cancer Trust on Friday 25th March at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Teenage Cancer Trust is a long established charity set up to help young people fight cancer. You can read more about the charity and make donations at their website HERE.

The band have been keen supporters of Teenage Cancer Trust through the years with Liam, Gem and Andy having performed at the event in 2002 with Oasis and both Liam and Gem making several appearances between them through the past decade of gigs.

Beady Eye's gig comes at the end of their run of sold out gigs across the UK and Europe which kicks off with the band's first ever gig in Glasgow Barrowlands on 3rd March.

Roger Daltrey, a poco più di un mese dal concerto che lo vedrà tornare sul palco, non pensa che rimarrà nel "giro" ancora a lungo e già pensa a cosa farà dopo la musica. Daltrey, 66 anni, che il prossimo 24 marzo salirà sulle assi della Royal Albert Hall di Londra per la manifestazione benefica "Concerts for Teenage Cancer Trust" in cui canterà brani da "Tommy", ha detto: "Probabilmente ho ancora due o tre anni davanti a me per fare musica, e voglio godermeli al massimo. Poi inizierò a dipingere. Già ora nel mio tempo libero faccio un po' l'imbrattatele, ma so che, quando inizierò a fare sul serio, sarà un'attività seria e non ci sarà spazio per altre cose". La sera successiva, il 25 marzo, suoneranno i Beady Eye di Liam Gallagher e Roger ha detto ad Absolute Radio: "Gli voglio bene a quel Liam, tutti dicono che è un tipo difficile ma io l'ho sempre trovato un gran tesoro. Liam è un tipo dal grande talento, divertente e sveglio e molto più intelligente di quello che dice la gente. Liam è una vera rockstar".
