Possible band breakup

In May 2007, rumors spread that the band was breaking up, but Matt Helders denied the rumors, commenting, "It's the first I've heard of it." Helders added they were still working on the US Tour.

However, on 14 May 2007, Alex Turner was interviewed by American radio station WYNC — originally to talk about the tour - and when asked "Are the Monkeys splitting?" replied "Yeah, me and Jamie [Cook] aren't working together." The interviewer appeared unconvinced because, as he said, the band were still going so strong. Turner promptly added that "Jamie wants out, so we can't carry on." The interviewer flipped that the band would be working together again shortly anyways for up and coming festivals, to which Turner, sounding somewhat desperate, replied "No-one believes me... I don't know what else to say!" Turner further commented on the band's breakup: "I'm relieved in some ways...we really hated carryin' on as normal with an awful secret, so let's move on, shall we?"

Continuo qui il mio giudizio sugli arctic monkeys inziato nel post dei travis...
Ho scritto che a me non piacciono perchè li trovo troppo casinari per niente (dancing shoes x esempio, dopo un inizio interessante, diventa un'accozzaglia di chitarre per 2 minuti...), adattissimi da ascoltare in macchina per carità...ma monotoni fino all'inverosimile, io l'ascolto per intero di un loro album non lo reggo.
Il batterista è bravo, ma a parte che mi piace di più il bassista...non me la sento di dire che sono chissà che musicisti, del resto suonano da 5 anni,non credo molto di più data la giovane età.
Comunque sono pareri personali non ammazzatemi
