Some singers try to be cool; Liam Gallagher doesn't do trying; he just is. If John Lennon were still alive, he'd want to be Liam Gallagher.

QUALCHE REVIEW

Ah man what a f**king day!!!!!!

Oasis were good but far from brilliant, foos were a hard act to follow but they just didnt seem to interested in getting the crowd into it for me. 10/10 for arrogance but id only give them 7/10 for performance. having said that the old classics - whats the story, dont look back, wonderwall, were all brilliant in theyre own right!

Foooooooos were by far the band of the day and put headliners oasis to shame for me! Every song brilliant and Taylors f**king drum solo was absolutely supreme! MOTHER f**kING FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!!!!!!!

Razorlight - im not a fan so biased opinion, but did put on a good show - rip it up n vice particularly really got the crowd warmed up for the next 2 acts. Last song seemed to go on for eternity tho, not for me but everyone else seemed to enjoy it

The coral - i thought these guys were really good! saw them at reading and wasnt as impressed but i thought that they had a nice solemn sound that acted as a nice break in between subways and razorlight.

Subways - Brilliant! i thought they commanded the stage as if it was theyre own and really seized the opportunity they had to perform in front of such a large audience

Nick armstrong - I didnt think they were to bad, good sound, nice energy, didnt feel they quite seized the moment like the subways though.

Yeti - unfortunately missed

Organisation - good from start to finish i thought, should of got theyre early for the front tho

Stadium - WOW!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With Foo's being my favourite band I have been telling my girlfriend for months that they would upstage Oasis, but she wasn't having any of it. But after coming out last night she admitted how good they were! Bring on Earls court next Saturday when I can see the full length tour and them for the 3rd time this year.

Oasis were good and I enjoyed them playing the old favourites and most of the good stuff off the current album, it just seemed to me that they were going through the old routine. I haven't seen them for 5 years so it was good, but it was never going to be better than Knebworth!

Razorlight were very good too and went through all the favourites on the album. The Coral were ok, but i'm not really a fan of theres anyway. The Subways were awesome as always and I think they won over a few extra fans with there performance.

I didn't see the first 2 acts as we didn't leave home till about 12:30, but it only took as 1 hour 30 to get there and the same on the way home. I think I got home at 12:15am.

All in all it was a really good day, if you include Reading winning 5-1 then it was a f**king great day!
