it was the same setlist as Brisbane and Sydney, with the Masterplan. I'm so glad that was played. Songbird was played. It was awesome! Love Like A Bomb wasn't played.

The Checks were pretty crap. They started off terrible then finished up okay. They only played for about 20 - 25 mins, I think. It didn't seem long at all.
Noel and Liam's microphones could have been just a bit louder, but they were probably loud enough. It was because the crowd was singing along to every song! It was ####' awesome!

Every song they played was great! Noel said that for Don't Look Back In Anger, we should close our eyes and pretend that the english cricket team is raising the ashes, while our team is lowering out hats haha.
Liam dedicated Rock N Roll Star to Jet!

Champagne Supernova was definitely one of the highlights along with Don't Look Back In Anger. There was a bit of a fight in Champagne Supernova.. security came in and the guys kept hugging... so they left them. But it was ironic.. during a nice, soft and sad song haha..
I didn't get the setlist but it was the exact same.

All of their songs were awesome, Acquiese, My Generation, Live Forever...

Having travelled to Sydney to see the lads twice i was really looking foward to the first Melbourne gig.

Having never been to Festival Hall i was surprised at how much stricter they were than Sydney was asked for i.d. no water bottles could be taken in, and a guy next to me had his camera confiscated by security just after i took a photo for him and his mates.

The setlist was the same as the first Sydney show without technical problems can't be fooked puting it dow someone else will. The acoustics at the venue i thought were pretty good. The crowd did not seem as familiar to some of the tunes as the Sydney crowd yet Noel said we were a better crowd than in Sydney. Having said that not as many people yelled out wonderwall after every single song like in Sydney.

Good to see the appearence of the wonderball which was supplied by a certain member of this forum.Without it being confiscated by security immediately like at the cricket.

Turn up the sun was a brilliant opener again. Liam seemed to be more into singing than at the Sydney gigs. My highlight was when i was shaking my fist to the beat at the start of turn up the sun and liam was looking right at me and started doing it

Dont understand why they had that incline at the front of ga which pissed me off particulary when the 3 guys in front of me were over 6 foot tall already.

Had to laugh when Noel said he wanted everyone to shut there eyes and think of the English cricket captain which was met by a chorus of loud boos. Yet DLBIA was absolutely brilliant. Noel seemed in a relatively bad mood and only looked happy when he saw a guy with a irish flag with celtic on it

Champagne Supernova was just beautiful and gave a bit of time out from moving all over the place from constant pushing

Towards the end there was a lot of people crowd surfing with one guy having oasis tatooed across his back which looked pretty mad.

Overall i thought it was a top gig and will look foward to reading other peoples opinions especially those who it was the first time they've seen em on this tour

it was great gig from my opinion, but i was a bit disappointed with the importance of being idle that it wasn't good as same as in the CD.
The crowd seemed to know only the hits, and many of them were mute when they play the songs from Don't believe the truth.

P.S. the guy who was standing beside me got Liam's tambourine, and this guy was only standing like robot without singing or jumping but he got it.

Overall, 9 out of 10 for this gig
