BLOC PARTY PULL LIVE DATES

Bloc Party have pulled some live dates due to problems with KELE OKEREKE’s voice.

After suffering a sore throat during the Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds Festivals Kele went to a specialist doctor who advised to rest for a week.

As a result a festival appearance at the I-Days Festival in Italy and a gig tomorrow (September 2) in London have been pulled.

A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM: “Kele has just been in to see a Harley Street specialist regarding his voice He had a few problems this weekend prior to the Reading show and has been hoarse ever since. He has been ordered to rest it completely for a week therefore we will have to cancel both the I-days Fest in Italy and the Virgin Digital launch on Friday.”

The band’s performance at the Mercury Music Prize next week and their North American and UK tour dates will not be affected.

Oh ragazzi/e mi dispiace un sacco... Ma da qualche parte ho letto che tornano in Italia. Beh non avrete certo dal lamentarvi col resto del cast che vale veramente tanto... Peccato non esserci...

Che nervoso speravo tanto di vederli....mi rifarò al New Age forse!

Comunque se davano forfait anche i QOTSA...penso dalla rabbia avrei picchiato tutte le ragazzine che sono venute a vedere i Subsonica (o meglio il cantante..... )...completamente fuori luogo soprattutto le seconde ad un evento del genere.
