Justin Hawkins has attacked chart topper James Blunt saying the ‘talentless fool’ should be left to the sharks.
However, The Darkness frontman, who’s currently working as British Whale, wants Blunt to stay at the top because he thinks it will make his on music sound even better.
He said: "If I were in charge I would insist on more and more dreary men with acoustic guitars.
“Then The Darkness and British Whale records will become the must-haves for anybody who has ever had anything positive happen in their lives.â€
As contactmusic reports, he continued: "Long live the dullards like James Blunt. There are some wretched, talentless fools among the current crop of stars, whose records ought to be melted down and used to build vinyl rafts, upon which they should be set adrift in shark-infested waters.
"Some of us like to get on with it instead of whining like ninnies."
Wise words Justin.
