Franz Ferdinand have admitted they may have ripped-off Kylie Minogue on their new single by accident.
The Scottish art-rock heroes released their new single, "Do You Want To" on Monday, featuring the infamous lines "lucky, lucky, lucky".
Frontman Alex Kapranos has confessed he could have written the line, rather similar to sections of Kylie's "I Should Be So Lucky", subconsciously and wishes he'd dedicated it to the Aussie pop rocket.
"In retrospect we should have referenced Kylie," explained Alex, admitting he would have parodied Minogue in the video to the track if he'd realised.
"I wish we'd have thought of that when we were doing the video 'cause I'd have liked to have done a scene in the bath with all the bubbles and the silly hat on," he told XFM.
Franz Ferdinand's new album, "You Could Have Had It So Much Better", is out on October 03.
