Hollywood star GWYNETH PALTROW has slammed US music critics after they wrote damning reviews of her husband CHRIS MARTIN's latest COLDPLAY album.
Despite good reviews and sales in Martin's native Britain, respected American publications Rolling Stone, Spin and the New York Times blasted the band's third disc X+Y, with the Times critic labelling the group "the most insufferable band of the decade. His voice is the sound between a yodel and a hiccup."
Paltrow fumes, "I thought, 'I wish this writer extreme misery and bodily harm.'
"If you're the partner of the person, it's a dagger to the heart."
