Radiohead go digital
(Thursday April 21, 2005 11:21 AM)
Radiohead's are offering fans the opportunity to download tracks from their back catalogue for the first time.
All of the band's albums and singles plus b-sides from 1995 onwards have been made available from today (April 21st) on warchildmusic.com.
Individual tracks will be priced at 99p, while their albums have been made available for £7.99.
These include "OK Computer" which looks set to re-chart this week after topping a Channel Four poll of the greatest albums of all time.
All tracks downloaded from the site will see around 20p going directly to the War Child charity.
For albums, the donation increases to £1.50.
Radiohead have previously resisted selling their back catalogue online through any digital music provider.
Last month the band had a minor dispute with iTunes when the store offered the band's "Kid A" album for download.
