"TV presenter and radio host Andy Goldstein said that fans will be disappointed if they think the legendary group are reforming, despite Liam Gallagher's string of tweets spelling out the name of the band last night.

Andy said he text Noel to ask him if the rumours were true, and he was left in no doubt after the guitarist responded.

The radio host tweeted today: "I just text Noel asking about the chance of reforming... his reply 'There's more chance of me and my ex-wife getting back together'. So no."
