Dirty Pretty Things to release debut single
And the band add another UK date
Dirty Pretty Things have announced details of their debut single.

'Bang Bang You're Dead' will be released on April 24 through Vertigo Records and will be available on CD, DVD and 7" vinyl.

Produced by Dave Sardy, the title track will be backed with 'Gin & Milk' and 'If You Were Wondering' on the CD edition while the 7" will feature an acoustic version of 'If You Were Wondering' on the flipside.

The DVD will also boast the demo of 'Bang Bang You're Dead' with video clips shot live in Paris along with additional documentary footage.

All of the bonus tracks will be exclusive to this single and 'Bang Bang You're Dead' is taken from Dirty Pretty Things' debut as-yet-untitled debut album, due for release on May 8.

Due to popular demand, the band have added another London show to their current UK tour, which will see them take to the stage at Kentish Town's Forum on May 24.

I Dirty Pretty Things pubblicano il primo singolo

Il gruppo capitanato e gestito dall'ex-libertino Carl Barat pubblicherà il primo singolo ufficiale il prossimo 24 Aprile per la Vertigo Records.

Si intitola “Bang Bang You're Dead” (clicca qui per ascoltalo su MySpace) e arriverà nei negozi circondato da due Lati B: “If You Were Wondering” e “Gin & Milk”, brani che non saranno inclusi nella versione finale dell'LP (ancora senza titolo) in uscita il prossimo 8 Maggio.

Debutta ufficialmente il 23 aprile il gruppo di Carl Barat, ex Libertines

Mentre i Babyshambles del suo ex compagno Pete Doherty hanno già pubblicato alcuni singoli ed il primo album, i Dirty Pretty Things di Carl Barat debutteranno ufficialmente solamente il prossimo 23 aprile. In tale data sarà spedito nelle rivendite il singolo d'esordio della band, "Bang bang you're dead"; il disco è stato mandato in onda per la prima volta lo scorso 27 febbraio nel corso del programma radiofonico britannico di Steve Lamacq. Il video abbinato alla canzone è stato girato in Messico. Il primo tour dei Dirty Pretty Things si è svolto proprio nel nostro Paese nello scorso ottobre. Alla fine dello scorso novembre il discografico Alan McGee riferì che il primo album della band, adesso come allora in lavorazione, stava "diventando un classico".
