Robbie Williams has broken the world record for the most number of concert tickets sold in one day.
The pop superstar is reported to have shifted 1.6 million tickets for next year's global jaunt when they went on-sale last weekend, selling-out five dates at Wembley Stadium alone.
The landmark achievement means Robbie will now be entered into the "Guinness Book Of World Records", displacing Justin Timberlake's former band NSYNC.
They sold one million tickets five years ago for the "No Strings Attached" tour, raising almost £24 million. However, Robbie is understood to have raised closer to £80 million.
Tickets for the dates went on-sale last Saturday, with the tour agent explaining that three new concerts had to be added to the two already confirmed at Wembley Stadium to meet demand.
He explained: "It was simply astonishing. We expected a huge demand but they sold even more than we anticipated."
Robbie's 2006 world tour kicks-off in South Africa on April 10.
