Coldplay dominate DMAs

Coldplay were amongst the big winners at the BT Digital Music Awards in London last night, claiming the coveted People's Choice Award for their website.
The band and their label, EMI, collectively took three gongs at the ceremony which took place at the Hammersmith Apollo, to recognise the use of the internet in music.
Not only did Coldplay win the People's Choice Award for best official site - http://www.coldplay.com - but also for Best Digital Music Community.
EMI took the prize for Best Digital Marketing Campaign for the band's "X&Y" album at the event, which saw a performance from the Magic Numbers, playing "Love Me Like You".
Gorillaz were named Best Band, James Blunt Best Pop, U2's "Vertigo" won the prize for Best Download Single and Apple's iTunes won Best Digital Music Store.
