Arctic Monkeys preview new material for fans
Alex Turner plays new song while out shopping
Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner gave fans a sneak preview of his band's new album in a clothes shop yesterday (February 7).
The singer was shopping in Sa-Kis in Sheffield, where he played a track, believed to entitled 'Satisfaction', on his laptop.
Turner told the fans he met in the shop the track was the B-side to the band's next single, 'Brianstorm', to be released on April 16.
After the impromptu preview, assistant manager of the shop Ian Theasby told NME.COM the track "could be one one of the most classic B-sides for the greatest hits in 10 years time".

Meanwhile the band are set to release their second album, 'Favourite Worst Nightmare', on April 23.
Dal blog di NME:
“This happened in Sa-kis, an ultra-hip, uber-expensive independent fashion retailer on Division Street in Sheffield city centre.
Alex Turner was paying for his stuff at the counter (he had a few items) and the guy asked him how the album was going.
He said: "It's done... we've just recorded the B side for the next single. Do you want to hear it?" The guy is like "Yeah, is it ok if we stick it on the shop's system?" Alex says ok, and puts this track on.
The track is mellower than a lot of the stuff on the first album, similar in style to stuff from 'Who the Fuck...’" - particularly the funky bits of the title track - but it's obviously them from the first time you hear Alex's voice come in.
Lyrically, it's similar to 'A Certain Romance', in that in one part he talks about an old friend who you could never hate.
Assistant manager of Sa-Kis Ian Theasby - who thinks the track's called 'Satisfaction'- said:
"Alex and Jamie have been coming in here for about a year, both really sound guys who like their clothes"
"The track? If that's the B side to the next single then god knows what the album's like because it was very, very, very good. Like 'Acquiesce' it could become one of those classic B-sides for the greatest hits in 10 years time."
"It's slower and funkier than their old stuff, but catchy as hell."
