Brit band Oasis does some smooth talking with Reagan Gavin Rasquinha
What's your most successful pick up line?
Liam: Hi, I'm Liam. I sing for a band called Oasis... Heard of 'em??
It's said that your song 'Wonderwall' is a direct lift-off of the Beatles' side-project avant garde soundtrack to a film of the same name... comment?
Noel: We've stopped commenting on this.
George Harrison had once described your music as 'rubbish'...
Noel: We've had the most success ever selling rubbish.
How do the two of you get along as brothers and as musicians?
Liam: We're cool with each other really.
What have you heard about India?
Liam: I have a friend who's into the whole Bollywood thing. I saw something at his place once and couldn't get over the whole costume changes thing.
Tell us something about your new album...
Andy: We've got a new album out, it's called Don't Believe the Truth.
Liam: It's a good one, I love it, you know. Some nice little numbers on there for the ladies. Then there's some out-and-out rock and roll songs on there.
How has your sound changed much since the 'Wonderwall' and 'Champagne Supernova' days... if anything, it's gotten more electronic... What do you have to say to that?
Noel: Well, we didn't wear suits and have a meeting one day and decided that we will make a more electronic and over produced album -- we write songs on the basis of what's going on in our heads at the time. If it sounds more electronic to some, so be it.
Are you two really as bad as you make yourselves out to be?
Noel: Even worse, actually.
Why does the line-up of your band keep changing?
Liam: Have you had the same job all your life?
